Cloud with Nine Shapes
A rectangle occupied by successive rectangles we read an industrial space with a black sky counterpoised with a wispy white cloud. Where does the eye settle and why do we trust that blackness to be a sky? What of the tension between the cloud and the static building mass both trapped and held in suspension under a sun’s shadow aching to move on?
